PEŅA FLAMENCA DE BRISTOL

CONSTITUTION

(BACK)

The PEŅA FLAMENCA DE BRISTOL has, as its primary purpose, the provision of a platform for anyone who wishes to perform flamenco, in however modest a way, and to develop dancers, musicians and singers who work in this form. The principal means of doing this will be the regular provision of performance evenings at the Undercroft of St.Mary Redcliffe, Bristol.

The PEŅA also offers opportunities for non-performing aficionados of flamenco, their friends and the general public to enjoy the sights and sounds of flamenco in an  atmosphere of informality and welcome.

Whilst the PEŅA exists to develop performers, it may be necessary from time to time to stage events using professionals. This will require the support of funding bodies.

The PEŅA FLAMENCA DE BRISTOL is a non-profitmaking organization serving Bristol, the South West and South Wales. In addition to providing a platform for flamenco it offers information about classes, courses, local flamenco related events and flamenco wear. It is a resource of particular value to the beginner.
